Renaissance Vienna Schönbrunn Hotel

I booked the hotel for 5 days to celebrate my birthday with my mum. So I was looking for something luxurious and comfortable. Reception staff was always helpful, going beyond to help you and explaining where to go (I needed medication for my mum on Sunday and the guy at reception printed the map for me and told me where to go). Andrea was very kind and helpful too. Only criticism I would have is the price for breakfast, 33 euro is a bit much for one person.

I was not impressed with the room, but the staff were amazing. Even though the hotel is not in the city center, the bus, subway, and tram have multiple lines nearby. Also ear a grocery store and several good restaurants

We booked this hotel based on its 4-star rating and the reviews, but what we experienced didn’t even meet the standards of a 2-star hotel. The tea glasses were dirty, there was no hand soap or basic toiletries provided. The duvet and bed linens had a bad smell, and there were no additional amenities in the room. Also, I had booked a room with a double bed (couple bed), but they gave us two separate single beds instead. I’ve stayed in many hotels before, and even the most basic ones offer these essential items.
