Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel

I loved my experience staying in renaissance hotel. The rooms are cozy and full of light - just to my liking. Staff at front desk appeared to be friendly and extremely helpful to my demands. Bay club gym has been relieving my work stress each evening after hours. Such a memorable experience. Definitely will stay here again!

This is really a nice place to stay. They share a health club, which as a guest you're able to access. This includes a great outdoor pool and other amenities. Parking can be a bit crazy since the health club members come and go non-stop, so you may have to do a few laps in the parking garage to get a spot.

I travel multiple times a month for work and always stay at Marriotts. This place has one thing going for it. The gym. It’s amazing and wonderful to have it connecting to the hotel. That’s about where it ends. The hotel is extremely dated but I could look past that. The rooms are so beat up, stained carpets, dresser drawers that don’t close, and ac that’s runs on and off and is so loud and some of the absolute worst beds I have ever slept in. The one bed was completely lopsided so I tried the other bed and it was still awful. You can tell these have not been replaced. The pillows were okay and the room was overall clean but the beds were in horrendous condition. The restaurant downstairs is charging outrageous prices for food that’s about a 2 star at best and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Coffee bar staff was fine and the coffee was decent. This place needs a major overhaul.
