Renartiss Isaakiy St.Petersburg Hotel

Had a good stay here. Breakfast is not huge but has everything you need. Staff is overall good and efficient. Had a great corner room and overall was pretty quiet. Only retraction is the bizarre visa registration fee they feel the need to gather guests calling it a “city tax”. Been in Russia a month and no other accommodation, including Marriott properties, have charged this. Still recommend the property.

Great hotel in general. The room walls are a bit thin but you'll get to the room tired from all the walking so it's hardly noticeable. The location is superb, close to a lot of places of interest. The food is good. The personal was very helpful and kind. Shout out to Natalie (trainee) who help us a lot!

We stayed here for a few days. The hotel is not in the center of town but close enough where you can walk easily. The hotel is an older one. It seems that they have renovated some of the top floors but not the ones they gave us. We did pay more than a standard rate to upgrade the room but were told that to get the better newer rooms it would again be a higher charge on top of our upgrade. The room is dark as windows were into the covered courtyard. The bed size was smaller than a normal double bed but I expected this. The bathroom was tiny and could have been more updated. There was no shower pressure. They include a breakfast on some room bookings and we had that but at the end they charge you a tax on FREE breakfast. The menu options were nice and the service was good. The front desk staff was nice and the concierge was superb with lots of help with reservations and navigating us where we should go and what to see.
