Renion Hills Hotel

One of the best hotels in Almaty. Highly recommended for individuals or families. However, breakfast buffet should have various types of food, when we asked for omelet eggs, the waiter said that they can’t make it since there are some alternatives on the buffet!

This review is for the 2 single beds room only. I didn't book or check the other rooms. I still need to check other hotels so I can have recommendation list. Renion City Hotel: 1- The bathroom door can be shut but it was hard to lock because the door didn't align 2- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet Renion Hills Hotel: 1- Room carpet smelled weird and seemed dirty. 2- Shower water temperature keeps changing from hot to cold. 3- they didn't provide shaving kit 4- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet Uyut Hotel: 1- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet 2- they didn't provide shaving kit 3- The shower creates a puddle because the drain isn't enough. 4- There is a pipe inside the bathroom and it makes noises from time to time. Breakfast: Renion City = Uyut > Renion Hills Room design: Renion City = Uyut > Renion Hills I recommend Renion City Hotel.

My first and only 1 star review after 100+ hotels - stay AWAY from this place --- They contacted me just a few hours before I arrive, told me that they are overbooked, and transferred me to another hotel and to a terrible room (photos attached). They said they will arrange taxi for transfer, which they didn't. Furthermore, they didn't even bother informing my colleague the hotel was overbooked (he booked and *already paid* via travel agency), he arrived, and they didn't accept him. They were unhelpful like it was his mistake, refused to contact the manager first because she "doesn't work after 1830". He had to go to another hotel after 9 pm. TLDR: Business trip ruined because of this hotel.
