Reserva Conchal

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Beach was beautiful and very few roaming vendors, which is often a problem. Quiet atmosphere, very relaxed. Plenty of amenities. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Food and service is on point! Would stay here again.

We had an amazing trip! The rooms were so spacious and comfortable, we had a view of the ocean and jungle. The pools were both better than expected, I feel like this is the nicest W I’ve stayed at. Even the all ages pool was not too crowded and very relaxed. The food and drinks were very good. What really stood out was the service! Every employee we interacted with was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone’s English was perfect and it was very easy to communicate. Kevin the bartender stood out - his drinks were amazing and he was so fun to talk to. Overall a great stay with zero complaints!

The W is just as billed: a gorgeous retreat. It might be the top destination I can imagine where the photos just don’t do it justice. We absolutely loved the rooms. Our view was incredible and the bathroom is particularly amazing. Loved the dual shower with the view. The beach is such a treat. The sand is incredible; it’s different from sugar sand beaches but quite enjoyable just to walk on. The water is perfect for casual swimming and snorkeling. Walk south and snorkel the rocks- amazing amount of fish! The food and drinks were great. It is pricey as others have noted- but that’s just CR. It’s honestly not much cheaper anywhere else. We loved the Peruvian ceviche from the beach restaurant. The breakfast is incredible. Every day we hit the gym, which is excellent and then breakfast before moving the beach, where they always had chairs ready. The solitude of the Ws location is sublime. I had a massage one day- best $40 massage ever. Seriously she was excellent and for that value!? If you plan on just hanging out, you should consider the AI package. We didn’t and enjoyed local fare but it’s a good 10 min drive just to leave the reserve. There were more kids than I expected. Probably because it was July. Also it was unseasonably humid and muggy which made outdoor stuff, specifically our hike, rough. But it was nice enough at the beach. If you want to see all of CR, this probably isn’t the best spot. This hotel is perfect for R&R and day trips to local beach towns. Can’t wait to come back.
