Residenz Schiestl

Wonderful apartment at a picturesque, quiet and peaceful location, the cleanliness is top notch, the apartment is well appointed and modern, it has all the amenities and creature comforts you would need (including trollies for your luggage, laundry room (works with coins)), a couple of points to highlight: 1) Please check which layout did you book on your reservation before checking in as we initially had room “Top 11” were the toilet and shower is in the same place and the AC was at the entrance way down the hallway so it would take ages for it to cool down the apartment, we went to the reception straight away and showed them our booking and they happily changed it to room “top 11” (the one in the video) at no extra charge, 2) the reception is at the hotel across the street, adjacent to the apartment building, they’ll give you all the instructions needed, plus you can ask them for a shower gel as the apartment has none, 3) Please be mindful of the fact that it’s an apartment not a hotel, so you have to take the rubbish out at the basement (separate the general waste from the plastics) and don’t leave it smelling in the corridor as there is no free house keeping, they’ll only clean it after you check out. Overall it’s an excellent stay if you’re in the region and I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in town.

One bedroom appartment(TOP4): Amazing new appartment close to ski-lift, with beautiful view of the mountains, garage, lift, heated ski storage and a ping-pong table! There is a fully equiped kitchen with sets for 12people (see pictures), however there is no basic ingredients such as salt, sugar, oil etc. There were 6 capsules of coffee for free, then €0,5/piece. The kitchen is quite small, there is almost no place to hide groceries. The lights in the main living area are weak and discomforting. The dishwasher had no salt and no rinse aid. We were told we had to buy it ourselves, which I feel is quite strange. The dishwasher doesnt work without salt. There were two dishwasher tablets for free. Change of towels is possible for a fee of €10. Other than that, the expirience was amazing.

We stayed at Residenz Schiestl over the Easter weekend. The apartments are very nice, modern, and well appointed. Location is perfect, right next to the Spieljichbahn, and the use of the hotel for swimming, meals was great. Very good for those seeking hotel amenities but with the flexibility of an apartment.
