What an incredible experience. Walking into the courtyard was pretty amazing, but when we were shown to our rooms, our jaws dropped. The history, the art, the beauty... Without sacrificing comfort. My brother's room had a fuseball table, and the owner even joined us for a match! The staff were a breath of fresh air compared to other accommodations on our trip. They were very kind, warm, and welcoming. Not to mention the location is perfect. A lovely calm retreat away from Rome, while not too far from the airport, and central to all the good restaurants, shops, and gelato in Tivoli, walking distance to everything!
The best Villa based residence ever visited. 16th Century Villa designed by the same architect that designed Villa D’Este. The owner retrofitted it to ancient luxury and all works are perfectly integrated with what the Villa was. A fantastic spa has been created under the Villa fully harmonized to respect the elegance and art of the structure. Giovanni and his team were extremely kind, helpful and showed what a real family business within hosting industry should look like. I never had such a great treatment. Breakfast was amazing and it seemed to be a special guest within a private and luxurious environment. Parking is great and location is exactly within the center of Tivoli. I will go back again and again…. Number one choice. Thank you Giovanni. Paolo
This hotel is truly a dream come true! It’s not run by a big chain like Marriott or Hilton, but by a warm and welcoming local family in Tivoli. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center, Villa d’Este, and Villa Gregoriana. As you enter through an authentic door into a charming courtyard, you immediately feel the magic. My room was absolutely stunning—like stepping into a Renaissance mansion. It had a grand entry room and a beautiful palace-style bedroom, complete with vintage furniture, hand-written manuscripts, old books, intricate wall decorations, and countless thoughtful details that words can't fully capture. I’ve shared a video of my room—definitely check it out! And the breakfast? An absolute masterpiece! Served on silver and porcelain, it was both a visual and culinary delight. The family running the hotel are incredibly kind and attentive—they truly make the whole experience unforgettable. Next time, I plan to spend an entire day just enjoying the hotel itself.
