Resort Antico Verbano

We love Antico Verbano. We love it so much that we have booked for 6 years now! Our children 14 till 20 love it also. The staff is very friendly and everything is very nice, and it’s clean. See you next year!

My girlfriend and I worked remotely for week as guests of Antico Verbano! Everything went very smoothly! Thank you very much for having us! Location was absolutely beautiful and hotel seemed very well maintained! Internet connection was good for working remotely! We had a lot of meetings and everything worked well without lag. Staff is very friendly and easy going! Only downside (if I should name something) is the sound insulation. It’s pretty non existant 😅 you can literally hear all the conversations from both sides… Something what we would do differently next time is book one of the bigger rooms. Something to take in to consideration is that a car is pretty much mandatory. The hotels car park is just a short walk away, which is handy. Also if you are visiting out side the high season do keep in mind that the near by restaurants are not open. But then on the other hand you get to enjoy the peace and quiet of this nice location 😌

A very convenient place to stay. Rooms are very practical with good facilities and an excellent shower in ours. Good air con. Think NZ Motel for the type of accommodation. Right on the lake so as good a view as you are likely to get anywhere. Public parking next door. Hit and miss if there is a space. Other downsides are a lousy cheap kettle that is not automatic and, for the very considerable price, you are expected to take your own rubbish to a filthy, smelly alley. Also, no light on our terrace and the roof leaked. Oh, and the free WiFi, there is a paid for option, is throttled. On balance, unless you make full use of the cooking facilities and have a room such as the one we had, 1c, probably seriously over priced.
