My husband and I spent our Summer holiday here from the 18th to the 25th of June. It's a 4-star hotel, in the past, the owner was a single person but now the property and the management belong to Futura Vacanza. During the booking, I had some problems with Futura Vacanza, but thanks to Francesco and his proficiency (a receptionist that work there since the old manging) all things were solved. The hotel is nearby the countryside of Otranto, exactly in the Baia dei Turchi that is named the beach as well. There aren't other hotels close to the structure, this makes the place very silent. The architecture reminds a typical east style, but more Moroccan than Turkic, but it's no problem, the atmosphere is beautiful after all. It's a Childfree hotel and I think it's important if you are looking for a completely relaxing vacation. Very big and comfortable room, mine, on the 1st floor, had a balcony. About the cleanliness of the rooms, I can say it was ok. The hotel is far from the beach few kilometers, you can go to the beach on foot, it's a 15 minutes walk into the countryside, but cause high temperature we preferred to take the shuttle reserved for the guests, there are one every 15 minutes and in five minutes you are on the beach. The beach is amazing, you have to walk into "Macchia Mediterranea" (Mediterranean scrub) and after that, a wonderful clear blue sea will be in front of you. The beach is for the exclusive use of the guests. There is a man named Amadou, he is very kind and helps you with everything. We bought a Half board reservation. The breakfast was International with wide choice and abundance. The dinner included an appetizer buffet, a choice between two first and second dishes, meat o fish generally, and a Buffet of desserts and fruits. Liscia or sparkling water was served in a closed bottle. The quality of the food was very good, but I loved especially the cakes. Unfortunately, the service restaurant wasn't so good, many waiters were so youngers for a 4-star hotel. It was clear that they were inexperienced. I hope that the manager improves this aspect!! About entertainment for me was good, I don't like many activities, especially when they are chaotic, but everything was equilibrated. In the evening there was a piano Bar and the Singer, Azis, was good. In the hotel there is also a big swimming pool, very beautiful, so you can choose where to stay. I couldn’t help but notice that the swimming pool needs some maintenance.

Never visit this hotel. It is by far the worst we have ever stayed at. The place was dirty, filthy, with zero soundproofing, and most of the staff were unpleasant. The food was anything but good. We left the hotel immediately and will certainly never return. The positive reviews must be inaccurate, as this hotel does not meet any standards to even be rated two stars. I would rather sleep on a sun lounger than visit this hotel again.

This is NOT a 4 star resort. It's the worst service level I've ever received in a hotel. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. Examples: At 8h50 cleaning staff knocks on your door aggressively bc they are on a clock;they do come back to make the bed, and not much more; Cobwebs in the headboard and other signs of uncleaness in the bedroom; In the 4 days I've spent here, my bath towel wasn't changed proactively, I had to ask for it; Breakfast ends at 10am, but at 9h30 staff starts collecting everything; Tables are not cleaned proactively and one needs to ask the staff to do so; when they do it, obviously no napkins, no spoons, bc these are clearly luxury items; Staff intentionally cooks low quantities and doesn't replenish it (eggs, mushrooms, bacon, etc) unless it's a 'special' request made to the manager (the one that started collecting everything at 9h30); If indeed they go for it, after a lot of convincing, it takes them 20min to do scrambled eggs, so that ideally everyone gives up and goes away; Bedrooms are sleazy, damp and dated; Unlit facilities to cut on expenses. Maybe this was a decent resort +10 years ago, but it certainly is a very bad quality price relation today. It's a cross between a sleazy motel, hostel and summer camp, where you're not a guest, just an endurance. Also, the beach is a 15min drive on a shuttle, not nearby to the hotel. The only good thing in this experience was the beach staff.
