Stunning location. Incredible food at the buffet option included at Hotel Continental. Clean and comfortable rooms, although slightly small.

Bedrooms are good and the buildings seem, for the most part, recently renovated. The staff is not at all friendly and makes no effort to speak a language other than Spanish. If you don't speak Spanish it will be very complicated! The SPA is unfortunately not very hygienic (showers broken, no jet to clean flip-flops,...) and too many people at once. The restaurants are too small compared to the size of the hotels ! They makes you wait in line for 15 to 45 minutes to eat... this is not normal. Only one of the restaurants is large, the "buffet" which is not really a buffet because it only offers a few dishes. Very low-end unfortunately (not worthy of a 4 star). Very unfortunate because the view of the mountains is superb, it is possible to go cross-country skiing, and we are close to a ski resort (+- 25 min). With investment, more open-mindedness and the use of abandoned buildings, there is really a lot of potential!

Bad experience which I do not recommend The surrounding area is outstanding and worth a visit. The spa was far from relaxing and generally cold anywhere you go. Finish sauna usually runs in between 80 and 110 whereas it was barely 65 here. Same issue with hammam, jacuzzi and so on. The place was poorly maintained if not without maintenance at all. From not being able to lock the toilet door, to different heath and safety hazards found such as electric plug hanging, broken showers, broken doors, mould on silicone around sinks and swimming pool, not to mention the ceiling on the sauna or hammam which is clearly heath and safety risk. The general hygiene is bad and this left us with a sense of carelessness I have never seen before. After mentioning the issue for such a high price allowing only 1h15 mn in, the weak apology from the reception mentioning they were not aware left us wondering if anyone is at all taking care of this place. Such a shame. I would recommend many smaller spa I have been in which are clean and well maintained, hot and well equipped. A waste of time and money. Careful if on top of that you booked the hotel, you will be very disappointed.
