Resort La Ghiaia

My family of two little kids and husband stayed here and it was fantastic. We have travelled all over Europe and this was the best place we have stayed: the pool was great, the food was amazing, the vineyard and wines were exquisite. But the best thing was Tara, the manager, so welcoming, so nice, so obliging. If we could give this place 10 stars, we would. Thank you so much, we will be back.

We spent here 7 nights with 2 children in August 24. Pros: 1. Spacy apartment 2. Great view to the vineyard 3. Nice interior style 4. Helpful staff, especially Mr. Tharanga - experienced and motivated and also Ms. Camilla was attentive 5. Wonderful pool was very suitable for our 2 years old son, and for adults too 6. Free bottles of water Cons: Major issue - the wasp nest under the table on the terrace. 2 wasps stung our 2 years old son in the 1st our evening here. Luckily there was no allergic reaction. But the evening was ruined. Next morning we asked to get rid of the nest. Minor issues: 1. the resort has misleading photos of the apartment in Booking and own web site. There is the stove in the kitchen in the photos, but when we arrived it was forbidden to use. We wanted to use the stove basically because of small kid, but it was impossible. The owner just suggested a paid meal for our kid. 2. it was very hot inside the apartment. I measured +33 of inner side of the walls. Probably the thermal insulation of the building is not so good. 3 air conditioners worked around the clock. And it allowed to decrease the temperature inside the apartment just to +30, when +36 was outside. 3. Some furniture needs repair. 4. Wi-Fi signal was poor in the bedroom.

Very nice place. Good vines. Ungortunatelly eating wasnt taste. Quite expensive.
