Resort La Mandola

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The amazing Marco was always serving our wine with a smile and some treats. I stayed with a group of 90 free divers and the Hostel took care of all of us. I highly recommend it and will stay again shall I find myself on Capraia in the future.

I’ve stayed at La Mandola eco Hostel twice, once in October of 2023 and once in June of 2024. I can not overstate this. THE STAFF IS AMAZING. They were so eager to help me with all of my needs, so friendly. True hospitality. The staff that works at the conjoined bar/restaurant is equally charming and helpful. Great food and great service. The Hostel is like a compound with a few seperate structures. There are many different courtyards and terraces. A large pool. Many rooms and parts of the property have an incredible sea and mountain view. I mean, it’s Capraia, it’s going to be beautiful. This is a great affordable option for people who want to visit Capraia. My love to all the staff here.

I really take exception to being treated like a "disturbance" by your staff/owner, we were part of a group who caused "fastido" but we filled most of your hotel. By choice I would not have stayed after my initial "welcome"but the island is small leaving little choice. I was charged for a room which had no hot water unless you ran it for ten minutes, and after being treated like an annoyanceI felt I could not make further requests. Only saving grace was the swimming pool and the location, would I return not on your LIFE!!!
