Resort One Hotel

Two hotels share the same spa facility, so before booking, it’s worth comparing room rates to find what best suits your needs. We ended up staying at Resort One. The room was a bit dated but comfortable overall. Be aware that the walls are very thin—you can easily hear conversations from the neighboring rooms. The two large tubs in the room were a great bonus. The spa area was wonderful and made for a perfect weekend getaway. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, so there’s no need for a car. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area. Highly recommended—but if you’re a light sleeper, don’t forget to bring earplugs!

Yay for extensive breakfast buffet, hot and cold tubs in room, fun hot springs activities for kids and adults, not crowded. Kids liked feeding fish and playing in lobby. Convenient parking. Kind staff. Nay for poor drainage and slippery floors in some hot springs walkways, no doors for hotel room bathroom or toilet and no vent...hmmm...at least I am not a newlywed. There were curtains though! Overall this American family had fun. Granted, it wasn't on our dime and we had no expectations.

Spacious room but the hot and cold spa in the room are not well kept. Can see mold on the tubs. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms are in the same condition. The lady who served us while checking in was rude too. She doesn't sound friendly at all and we believed she is one of a senior staff there. Hope the management see my reviews and improve on these matters.
