Rethink Living Hewitt Tower

Re-think is the worst company to deal with. They will gladly take your money but will never be available to deal with any issues during your stay. There were bed bugs on the beds in the apartment and the TV, internet and lift were not working. Also they took money from me for a broken table that was already damaged when I arrived. Please avoid using this company as it will bring you nothing but stress and problems.

I wouldn’t recommend booking with rethink living. They advertised an apartment as sleeping 11 people and it was a terrace house with very little space in a residential area. When we checked out I received an email to say that I owed them £150 for a broken table leg and a broken lock. When we arrived at the house the table was propped up against a chair because it was already broken and the lock popped out when someone was in the bathroom - very easy fix however they tried to charge us £150. We refused to pay, I’m concerned they would try to keep charging people for the same damage every time. Book elsewhere.

We also booked apartment through Airbnb in March for Reading festival. We also got cancelled with no notice accept for airbnb telling us it’s due to the apartment no longer being available. Not only did Airbnb barely respond to us. We were unable to even contact Rethink Living to ask for an explanation. There were still Reading apartments available for 2 to 3 times the amount we paid for it. So they easily got have offered us a similar apartment. We had to book another apartment (with a different company obviously) for twice the price and a lot further from the festival. Their airbnb reviews where great. But don’t fall for it! This company is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t give a f* about you, they only want money. Not what you would expect from a company in the hospitality industry.
