Retreat

I had a wonderful week long stay here for work, modern and self contained with all the essentials. I work some night shifts and during the day I could sleep easily without any loud sounds. No dryer but a clothes line available. Wifi is fast. I loved the secure dog kennel, my pup was safe when I had to go to work. I also very much appreciate that she could be inside with me when I was home. No dogs in carpeted spaces (bedroom), and it’s beautiful carpet so very understandable. The owners were easily contactable and they had a generator set up for any power outages, which happened once during my stay for a few hours which had no impact to my stay due to this service (outstanding). Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay at Kalgan Retreat. It is the perfect location - a 15 minute drive into Albany CBD but in a lovely quiet setting, perfect for coming back and relaxing in the evening / having a slow start to the day! The chalet had everything we needed and was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed 4 days at Kalgan Retreat. Lovely chalet, clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped in a peaceful location on a small lifestyle block alongside the Kalgan river. Only 15 mins out of Albany. There are only two chalets, two friendly horses, several inquisitive goats and many birds to enjoy. We highly recommend this place. Laurie and Louise
