I wish i could rate the service with more stars! Check in was at 4pm and no rooms were available yet so we dropped them off at 11am and they asked if we wanted to get put on the wait list. We weren’t planning on coming back till later so we didn’t need it. After a full day of walking and exploring we got back to the hotel at 9 pm and were greeted by Thomas. His hospitality is unmatched and he went above and beyond. He chit chatted with us and asked about our day and offered us some waters. We also mentioned we were celebrating our six year anniversary and have been exploring the entire weekend with business to follow. Thomas offered to hand deliver wine to us which was the absolute sweetest thing ever! He definitely did not have to do any of this but continued to go above and beyond and gave us a little hand written note as well. His kind gesture meant the world to me and felt amazing to lay in my comfy hotel bed with my partner and relax after the long weekend. Thanks for all you do Thomas, you are AMAZING!
Took a solo trip to Boston a few years ago and decided to stay here. Loved it all - from the great location to the spacious and clean room - this hotel truly does have it all and it helped me fall in love with Boston. Just this past weekend I took a birthday weekend trip and brought my boyfriend. I've been yapping to him about how much I enjoyed myself during my last stay and he quickly learned why. He was also impressed with the bars located on premise. The rooftop has great views and Rebel's Guild offers a great way to lounge. When checking in I was greeted warmly by Thomas (I'm sorry if I have your name wrong I'm not too great at remembering names oopsie). I playfully made a note when booking my room saying that I was excited because it was my birthday, which I didn't expect anyone to take note of. He asked what plans I had for the weekend and to let him know if I needed anything at all. He also asked, since it was my birthday, if I would like a bottle of Champagne sent to our room. Of course I accepted (was I in a dream?)! After a walk in Boston Common my boyfriend and I were surprised to see the bottle was set up in an ice bucket and there was a very lovely note and some dessert treats! I can't describe how I felt when I saw the surprise but it truly was memorable.
Stayed for a quick overnight trip earlier this week, & already have several more stays booked for the upcoming months! They were kind enough to let us check in early which was much appreciated-the room was clean, quiet, & had a gorgeous view. We tried out the rooftop bar for dinner, I want to shine extra light on the manager Kyo! The staff up there seemed to be a little spread thin, & she came upstairs & saved the day! She jumped in taking orders, running drinks, & checking in throughout the night with us as well as other tables. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does & she definitely deserves some special recognition for being able to turn our experience around!
