From the moment we stepped foot in the door, everything was perfect. We were greeted promptly and warmly and was even allowed to check in early. Our room was spotless and smelled amazing. The elevators never took more than a few seconds and we were on the 11th floor. The location of this hotel was perfect and close to everything we needed. Staff was more than accommodating! We will definitely be staying here again when we are in Toronto.
Delighted to give this hotel our 5 star review. This was our first visit. We have already booked again for September. What we love is the location. The entertainment section. It is a smaller hotel than most which we liked. We are always on the lookout for something that is unique and this is it. We were pleased with everything, really. Ultra modern for the rooms and furnishings. A cocktail in the lobby bar was awesome. The service here including breakfast the next morning was so pleasant. It seems the staff really did enjoy working for the hotel. Best to see for yourself. Go ahead, do it. You will enjoy the experience.
Unsanitary and inconvenient. Check-in was very difficult. The valet parking garage only appeared to have one person working during the 3 p.m. check-in rush. We waited in the left turn lane in front of the hotel for more than 25 minutes waiting for enough room to open up inside the parking garage (which fits about three cars in the entryway). This garage has a car elevator in it, so with one person working it took an extremely long time to clear the few cars that were inside to open up room for a few more to enter. Once we got inside, 30 minutes after our check-in time, we were informed our room wasn’t ready and were told we could have a seat or drop our luggage head out into downtown and they’d call when it was ready. We chose the latter and got the notification our room was ready TWO HOURS after check-in time. Upon returning to the hotel to check in, we headed up to our room, which was NEVER CLEANED despite the two-hour check-in delay. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, and in the tub and on the toilet. Also, the towel hanging in the bathtub was wet from a previous guest. Absolutely disgusting. On top of all of the above, there was a random hat just sitting in front of the window (curtains were open when we got in) so it’s clear nobody cleaned anything — and probably never even inspected the room — before we got to our room despite the two-hour cleaning delay. I notified the staff via the text they sent asking how our room was and all they did was apologize and offer some Hilton points — no offer to clean, just to remove the hat. There are much better, and cleaner, options at similar price points in downtown TO.
