Fantastic hospitality from the hotel staff. Special shout-out to manager Mark, who went out of the way to provide attraction recommendations and personalized service throughout my stay. He's the difference between a good hotel, and a great one. The room was good as well. Stayed in a junior suite that was spacious and on a high floor. The room was extremely clean. Hotel location was ideal. In a quieter neighbourhood, but adjacent to the Grand Canal mall, with plenty of f&b options, retail stores and supermarket. You can also take a short stroll along the grand canal, which is surprisingly peaceful and serene. 5* hotel for sure, definitely recommended.
Great hotel, amazing staff and service is amazing. The view from the room is amazing . Needs to mention that coffee in the lobby is great and there are some nice snacks in second cafe which is also on Ground floor.
Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou is located nearby Hangzhou grand canal. Kempinski brand is synonymous with luxury and great comfort and this hotel does not disappoint. The amenities were excellent, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent especially the local cuisine. Service was good but still have room for improvement. Overall, an excellent stay.
