We loved everything about Rezydencja Bohema, a very elegant place, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, fantastic central location on the main promenade. We really recommend it!

My parents, wife and I shared a great dinner here a couple of weeks ago. The place was quiet, staff were very attentive and the meals were all amazing. My parents also stayed overnight in the hotel and were very happy with the accommodation. This is a high quality place for anyone considering a special occasion celebration in town.

Not recommended. This is not a hotel nor a spa (misleading and advertising a for non-existent facilities is unacceptable). "Hotel" Rezydencja Bohema in Szczawno-Zdrój is a narrow townhouse squeezed between two other buildings. The high ceilings and spectacular view (of a public garden) are not enough when you need to carry up every piece of luggage, through fifty steep attic steps because there is no elevator. The place is a converted residential building offering only a handful of tiny attic rooms to guests while the rest appears to house on-site staff (we didn't see anyone coming out of the rooms in the building. We were the only guests or residences). Those attic rooms suffer from malfunctioning showers and toilets and when repairs are requested during the afternoon, you are told maintenance is no longer on duty. If you call yourself a "hotel" you must provide basic infrastructure and service around the clock. On arrival you receive a slice of cake and a spritz. it is a polite gesture since breakfast is not included (and these rooms are the most expensive within a ten-kilometer radius). The cake counter holds only three choices. The so-called cheesecake is milk set with flavorless gelatin. Horrible. The tiramisu is marginally acceptable but we didnt come to our grandmothers' land to eat very bad, where at hone we have great cook. It is far better for you to skip their "cakes" and cross to the next shop, to Bohemian Cafe (not related and ignore the name), and enjoy a genuine chess cake (Zapikanka, or others), or walk to the end of the townhouses to the water company to enjoy a mineral water fountain. Back to the rooms. The attic room feel claustrophobic. Narrow windows face the parking lot instead of the garden below. The rooms can not justify the premium rate, and the beautiful garden (which is btw public property, freely accessible to anyone, and no private courtyard or any exclusive outdoor space) do not belong to the property. The name Bohema Hotel & Spa in Bydgoszcz is even more misleading. There is no spa on the premises even though that was the attractive reason for selecting this property. Advertising spa facilities that do not exist may breach consumer protection laws. Bottom line: small rooms, very modest, not as advertised in anything, there is no elevator so guests must carry their belongings. We will not return and i do not recommend this location.
