Rhodos Horizon Blu Adults Only

We had a lovely stay at Rhodos Horizon Blu. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and also close to the city center. The hotel has a relaxed and modern vibe, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. Our room was cozy with a balcony and sea view, and it was cleaned every day. The staff was always kind and helpful, especially at the reception and pool bar – always smiling and ready to help with anything. The food was tasty and varied, with many options for both breakfast and dinner. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruits, Greek dishes and of course the desserts. We also loved the pool area – lots of sunbeds, a peaceful atmosphere, and a great place to enjoy a frappe and just relax. :) Thank you for a great holiday – we would definitely come back again or try another Horizon hotel in the future!

The hotel is modern, with a great location and a good breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, a 140 cm wide bed for two people is, in my opinion, too small. We asked for a larger bed but unfortunately didn’t receive any positive response. We also noticed some ants in the room, though this might be because we brought them in from the pool area.

The staff was polite, no issues with it. Good breakfast. You can leave your bags at the reception after check out which is nice. But.. First impression is the most important and it was bad. The room wasn't clean properly: someone's lipstick on cups, spoon with traces of, I guess, dried coffee on it, hair on the sheets, ants everywhere.. I was being nice and told about ants only, but left sheets up so it's visible for the person who will clean it but it was ignored. Then I had to invite receptionist to the room and point out to everything.. Since then was no issues with cleaning. No tea or even water in the room. Tv is old, no smart tv. Kettle was old as well and dirty enough to not even bother using it. Tour operator later asked if someone congratulated me on my birthday - I had no idea that someone asked to do it but anyway no one did it. I don't think hotels should do it so it doesn't affect rating. Just in case if anyone plans to ask about it - probably it will be forgotten. I don't think it's 4 stars even comparing to other hotels in Greece, maybe it was 10 years ago but not today.
