Rhodos Horizon Marina

Great hotel, I've never been to a better one. Very close to the beach, and a very beautiful beach (great sand). The food is truly excellent; apart from breakfast, you can enjoy something new every day. The friendly staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Close to the old town, which is beautiful! Delicious drinks made with high-quality alcohol, and evening entertainment every other day. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Booked a room with sea view and barely can see something through the window, when ask to change the room gently told me they were booked. The pool area feels very crowded one sun bed stick to the next one. The gym open just till 16:00 and it's closed on Sundays, in a beach place people want to enjoy the beach during the day, would be nice to have it open till late. And everyday. I arrived Saturday afternoon, Sunday closed, monday I left. Choose a hotel with a gym I couldn't use. But the worst for me was the feeling of hurry at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner, waiters are already preparing the saloon for the next meal while people are still eating. Lifting and setting tables, taking the trash out in between the tables. I understand the need of being efficient but this system felt very uncomfortable and not relaxing. To pay €450 for a weekend I cannot say I had a nice time. As positive, The room was clean, bedding and towels very clean.

Overall, the holiday was not pleasing. The price does not match the service and facilities provided. The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are cleaned regularly and very well. The towels in the room were always snow-white. Another plus is that the rooms have a bathtub. These are all the pluses. The minuses are the old renovation of the hotel, the location of the hotel is also not good. Since the hotel is blocked by buildings in front. To get to the beach, you need to cross three roads. The beach is dirty. The hotel pool is very small, the sun loungers are always crowded. The food is monotonous, there is little fruit. It is very bad that there is no food between main meals. It would be nice if they gave fruit, ice cream or something else between main meals. The internet in the rooms and throughout the hotel is very poor. Smoking and cigarette smell everywhere. I do not recommend this hotel.
