Richmond Ephesus Resort All Inclusive

It's a good family hotel with a lot of activities for children and adults. Most of all I liked the beach and hotel's green area. The food is very tasty, respect to the chef. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located approximately 8 km from Selçuk and 12 km from Kusadasi, but there is a bus stop and a taxi station next to the hotel, you can easily get to one of the towns, if you need. Very close to Efes, a minivan goes there.

A Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement The hotel had a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The variety and quality of the meals—including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks—were excellent and satisfying. However, the number of staff could be slightly increased to improve service efficiency. Additionally, hotel management should maintain stricter supervision over the behavior of the staff. It is unacceptable for hotel personnel to approach or engage single female guests in unsolicited conversation. Unfortunately, we witnessed two such incidents during our stay, which was disappointing and not fitting for a hotel of this standard. The animation team was mostly inactive during our stay, with no engaging programs or activities provided. This aspect could be significantly improved to enhance the overall guest experience. The cleanliness of the public restrooms needs more attention, and some of the facilities would benefit from renovation and modernization. On a positive note, we appreciated that our room was ready before the official check-in time of 2:00 PM, which gave us a very good first impression.

The hotel boasts truly exceptional food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a diverse array of fresh, flavorful dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and variety of the dining options were a definite highlight of our trip, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Equally nice was the beach. However, the tranquility of our evenings was consistently shattered by an unforeseen and highly disruptive issue: the neighboring hotel's incessant laser show. From dusk until well past midnight, powerful lasers were directed straight into our room, creating flashing lights and beams that made it impossible to relax or sleep. While we understand that this hotel cannot control the actions of its neighbors, it should be arranged between the hotels. its paradox, that our hotel also offers live music, disco etc. and that noise is in normal level, but we couldn't sleep because of noise (karaoke and loud music coming from the mentioned neighbouring hotel). This was our second stay at Richmond Ephesus and while we had hoped for another pleasant experience, it will likely be our last due to the neighbouring hotel behaviour. It's a bit unfair for this hotel since we can not place the review for the neighbouring hotel, the stuff of this hotel is really friendly and tries it's best but due to the neighbouring drunk people singing karaoke till the late hours and blipping laser show which makes small kids hard to sleep, it's is what it is. To conclude: unfortunately, the ongoing issue of noise from the neighboud has significantly detracted from our stay. Despite this being our second visit, it's clear that the management across neighbouring two properties has not been able to come to a mutual agreement regarding respectful light & noise policies.
