Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Shijo

Such a lovely place with helpful and friendly staff. It is far enough from the over crowded areas of the city, but close enough to access whatever you may desire. The breakfast is exceptional and they provide snacks and drinks in that space in the afternoon and evening. They also provide small experiences daily like sake tasting, origami, calligraphy, and more. This place made me immediately feel welcome and at peace for my trip.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were nicely greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located close to various public transportation, about 12 minutes from Nishiki Market which is great for the multiple food vendors and shops. The hotel offered complimentary coffee in the main floor lobby. The laundry facility was ok, the dryer portion did not work very well although I did 2 extra dryer cycles, and this is with normal size loads (I put more in my dryer back home in Canada and all is dry in 1 cycle). The staff was also very helpful in coordinating the luggages transportation when we went to Osaka. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, location and quiet rooms for a nice night’s sleep.

Best hotel in Japan we stayed at. The people working here are doing really great work, assisting and helping in anything you need. The interiors and amenities are high class and everything is clean and beautiful. The lounge was a great addition to already awesome experience.Best price value. Legit amazing. Totally recommend.
