A flawless stay at Riggs DC! From the moment I arrived on Sunday, the hospitality at Riggs DC was top notch. I was warmly welcomed by Mr. DC, who not only greeted me with genuine kindness but took the time to learn my name. When I saw him again on Tuesday after his day off, he remembered me and greeted me by name, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every time I passed through the lobby, he offered a smile, helpful recommendations, and a warm, professional presence that truly made my stay feel personal. The rest of the staff were also friendly and accommodating, but Mr. DC truly stood out for his exceptional service. The hotel itself is stunning. Rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and give off a nostalgic, boutique charm. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring DC.

Our stay at The Riggs was phenomenal. I believe the hotel is an older older property, but is impeccably maintained and you would never be able to tell its age when walking through it. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. Every member of the staff I spoke with was accommodating and friendly. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant every day and it was delicious, we never had a bad meal and the service was fantastic. The location is excellent, directly across from the national Portrait gallery and the Capital One Arena is about 2 blocks away. There are several nice restaurants across the street and within a 5 - 10 minute walk and it is about a 10 minute walk to the national mall and the museums. The only issue we had was that we booked directly through the hotel using a black Friday deal. When we checked out they didn't credit us for the deal and we had to call back twice to get the proper refund calculated. I think they still miscalculated by about $100. Even with that mistake the stay was nice enough that it wouldn't feel right deducting a star from the review. We had a great stay in DC and the Riggs made our stay even better.
