RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and I am very grateful for the wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the A-bomb Dome, which made exploring Hiroshima very convenient. I want to especially thank Kim at the reception for his kindness and help. We mistakenly booked three rooms when we only needed two, and Kim went out of his way to assist us. He kindly arranged for one of the rooms to be canceled upon our arrival and waived the charges, which we truly appreciated. His cheerful and energetic personality made the situation much easier, and I was very impressed that he speaks our language, which is not very common for foreigners to learn. Overall, I feel very thankful for the hospitality we received and would definitely choose to stay here again!

We spent three days at this hotel and it was fantastic. The location was awesome, with easy walking access to the A-Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial areas. Transport was also super easy, both during our stay at the hotel and getting to and from the hotel at either end of the stay. The view was awesome from our north-facing room on the 27th floor, and it was good value for money too. Our twin room was a really good size, as was the bathroom.

The hotel is located nice and Central. The view from the Room is absolutely stunning. Rooms are large, but a bit outdated. The hotel itself is large and impressive. Using the swimming pool is expensive and no fun for kids. Some elderly fanatic local male guests are using it for their serious workouts, while the pool itself is divided in swimming Lanes. The Breakfast is extensive and lovely.
