The location is amazing and we got to enjoy it all by ourselfs on a Monday. The spa was very clean and with many different saunas! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! We will definitely become regulars at the resort! They deserve more than 3 stars! And also the tub in the room fits two people easy!!
DON’T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS! Once I reserved our stay, I was a bit predisposed because of everything written; I am an Airbnb Superhost and definitely have an eye for quality. However, once we got there, I realized what a gem this hotel truly is. The rooms were completely warm with not one but two heaters inside, the spa was absolutely wonderful as it is not crowded (I felt like the hotel was for ourselves to enjoy) and the water in the pool was warm and pleasant to be in; we also enjoyed the sauna and everything was fully functional. The front desk staff was attentive and we even had a couple of laughs, she made sure everything was up to standards with our stay. I cannot say how beautiful the exterior as well as the interior is as the hotel is surrounded by nature. The hotel itself was pretty easily findable and reachable and every normal car would not have a problem going there. Thank you for a great stay and would gladly be back! If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation away from noise and a beautiful scenery this is definitely your place. It’s obvious that the staff is putting a lot of effort into making this place truly comfortable and accommodating for guests.
What can I say… I'm not a fan of giving bad opinions, but this time I'm going to speak out. This is a criticism aimed at the people responsible for managing the building, not the hotel staff, who were very nice and friendly (that’s why two stars instead of one). After a long hike in the mountains, I was looking forward to my stay at the "spa", which turned out not to work ... the disappointment was huge. From the comments it appears that this spa has not been working for almost 4 years. My mistake that I didn't check the reviews before I booked this hotel, but I was suggesting the location, which, I must say, is very good - close to the Rila monastery and the mountain trail. I saw other options, but they were too far from the trail, and without a car it would be difficult to get there. The breakfast was also a disappointment. I ordered an omelet with cheese, a sure thing that I ate in mountain huts, and which I always enjoyed. In a luxurious hotel I receive food with hair that someone has definitely over salted and I was unable to eat it. To sum up, for this price, because you pay a lot of money, I expected something more. If the prices weren't so exorbitant, I would be able to turn a blind eye to all this, but the price of accommodation was supposed to include a spa and a tasty breakfast ... It's a pity, because the first impression was great, but it turned out to be deceptive.
