Fantastic golf course, so friendly, Thankyou so much.
Not as advertised! Disappointing stay. Carefully booked this hotel with the information provided on both booking.com and their own website. In short it isn’t completely as advertised. 1. Pictures of the rooms used on website and booking.com are not the rooms received. Advertised rooms are mono toned stylish scandi decor…Our rooms…terrible coloured carpet with terrible golf mural. (No robes - must be rented). 2. NO AIR CONDITIONING. They advertise air conditioning in the upper rooms which I specifically booked for a couple of hot days. They do not have air conditioning. On realising my AC wasn’t working I spoke to reception, their reply was “Sweden like Europe doesn’t have AC…we have cooling air…” excuse me?! 3. No control of lights on the balcony. With the room being hot due to no AC you need to open the doors. The lights on the balcony then attract all the bugs, which of course want to come into your room. When I again bought this up with the reception they said the rooms have curtains… well ok sure but in both rooms the privacy curtains do not extend the whole length nor are the main curtains blackout material… at least the lights turn off at about 23:40… 4. Reception closes at 6. If you get there after the restaurant gives you the keys which is fine, however we were given no information about the hotel or local area (where to go, what was on offer etc - use the bikes to explore, here is a local map etc). Simple additions would be helpful. 5. Basic bathroom, shower water pressure wasn’t great. Positives. 1. Main restaurants food was good (Pricey though not sure it’s justified). 2. Great views from balconies. 3. Sauna / spa area is very nice (although no fresh towels at the end of the day. Just a pile of used ones). 4. Great to have bikes to get around. As a whole the hotel feels like an attempt at a high end hotel where ambition was greater than their pockets allowed. Is it a hotel for all or just a basic overnight stay for golfers? No better than a UK Premier Inn.
Room was ok. In the wellness area there were no fresh towels available during the whole weekend (used ones laying arround). Breakfast was poor and is not reflecting the price of the hotel. They want the espresso (coming from coffee machine and not portafilter machine) to be payed extra.
