Ringhotel Katharinen Hof

Very pleasant hotel with big rooms and comfortable beds. It is clean and the staff is usually very helpful and kind. There is a restaurant where you can have a dinner and supper as well. It is in the nearby of the both train station and the city center. There are many shops in the nearby. I really recommend this hotel. There are three types of sauna, all clean and new. There is also a small gym, and massage room.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great accommodations and the staff was extremely friendly. If your travel plans include Unna, this is the hotel to book. I saw some comments about the noise on the train station side. We were on the church side and the only noise we experienced were the church bells ringing early in the morning for quite a few minutes. If you don't mind that, pick the church side of the hotel. In America, we like our ice, and our frequent requests for it were always take care of with a smile. The hotel restaurant also did a very job with the morning breakfast. The servers were extremely efficient and accommodating.

Room was very spacious and very quiet, which is a great achievement for a hotel sitting across the street from the train station. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with all the expected German food. The hotel has its own covered car park, with tight spaces, which can make parking tight. Yet, the most shocking features of the hotel is that there is no WiFi in the rooms, only at reception and restaurant, and only during certain times! A leisure hotel it is, a business friendly hotel it is less so!
