Rinn Gion Hanatouro

Modern rooms in the heart of historic Kyoto! Hotel is tucked away on an alley overlooking the temple garden which was a nice escape from the super busy streets in Gion. Staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Looking forward to another stay.

This is a deceptively high class hotel. The location was great and amenities were very good. Small touches like the healing sheets, Nespresso machine downstairs, matcha chocolate and the instant ramen cups were appreciated and well thought out. Check in was very pleasant and we were even given warm drinks prior to leaving the hotel on the first day of exploring Kyoto. Special mention to Risa who check us in on the first day and made for a truly memorable welcome to Kyoto.

Stayed here during Jan 2025. Fantastic location in the heart of Gion but tucked away in a quiet side street away from the crowds. It’s a boutique hotel with only a few rooms per floor, which is perfect if you want to have a quiet stay. The room was lovely and there is an excellent selection of amenities near reception (my wife and daughter loved the hair oil!). Hotel staff always make you feel welcome and helped us heaps with sight seeing suggestions and luggage forwarding to our next hotel, including calling the other hotel to make sure they are ready to receive our luggages. Would definitely stay here again.
