I absolutely love this hotel! It is so closely located to Kyoto Station, about 5 minutes walk away. The hotel also provides a variety of amenities in the lobby ranging from many brands of sample size shampoo to body lotion and to hair ties and many more. I stayed in the superior king room and it was so spacious with a king bed and also an area for tatami. The bathroom had a double sink which was amazing as there are two of us. Overall I would highly recommend to stay here and I would love to return back again!

I stayed for 2 nights and it was a comfortable stay. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable with window. However, soundproofing can be a little weak. I feel this is the only thing that needs improvement. I like the hotel for its location - there are bus stops nearby and it is a 5 minute walk to Kyoto station. Coin laundry is also available. What’s better is that there are 2 popular eating spaces (Tsujiya for yakitori and Kitada clam soup ramen) that you can try out.

When checked in with our room - we noticed that the bathroom floor had a “strange”stain and the slippers were very very old and were reused. We were surprised that it happened to the hotel with good reviews. The room we booked was one of the biggest rooms. We raised the concerns and the front desk staff came up with a cleaning kit - claimed “it was difficult to clean”. Shouldn’t this be done probably by the hotel ? It felt to me that the room wasn’t cleaned properly or checked. They also don’t offer any daily room cleaning too. The hotel is small & business hotel compared to the next door Richmond hotel which is also 3 star but has a bright spacious lobby.
