Stayed here for a few weeks for businesses trip. The rooms are pretty fine, a bit worn down some places but still good. The breakfast is fine, a bit boring. Some morning they like to but on some, background music and that's fine. But some of them crank the volume way to high, am eating breakfast not going to a club.... The rooftop bar is pretty nice. Good food, good drinks a nice view and good staff. The outside tables is very unstable, this need to be fixed super annoying. The cleaning in the rooms can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes very good and sometimes a bit rushed. But all in all it's a solid 8/10 hotel. Drop the breakfast music it's annoying. Fix the tables and maybe, change up the breakfast a bit. Cheers.

Excellent location—right across from the beach and one of the tallest buildings at Copacabana so the pool views are amazing. The rooftop was gorgeous with great drinks and a great pool. The room is where this lost a lot for me. The room was a standard size but everything was filthy. The bathroom walls, windows, and curtains were covered in black mold. Even my pillow cases had mold. The sheets and towels were stained. I immediately called room service to change the sheets when we arrived. When they arrived, they saw us there and left without changing them. I called back later and the same guy came to the room and was super unpleasant with us. The cleaner later in the week was lovely but still replaced towels with dirty ones. The bathroom also has no ventilation so your entire room will become increasingly damp. By the last night, it was so uncomfortably damp in our room and my pillows just felt wet. I was so happy to leave. Our friends had bigger rooms that were cleaner and they seemed to enjoy their time a little more. But I would certainly not recommend the standard rooms. Upgrade a bit. The check-in experience is also not good. It’s 2 staff members and the check-in line was so long everyday and they prioritize the check-out line. It took us more than 45 minutes waiting in line to check in. Seemed to be the same experience every day. You also cannot bring guests into the hotel. Every person must present a key card before going into the elevator bay. At one point, security didn’t believe me I was staying there and asked for proof beyond my key card. If you plan on having guests whatsoever, this place is not for you. The breakfast buffet was ample and decent. No issues there. All-in-all, this stay was uncomfortable and unclean, which is disappointing because it’s such a fantastic location with a great rooftop and free beach chairs. But ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms are moldy and dirty. We had to change rooms three times in order to pick the least moldy one since they are all full of black mold. It's on the ceilings in the room, in the shower, in the air conditioning, on the paintings, on the curtains... You're basically breathing in mold the whole time you're there. We stayed for only two nights and left sick with congestion, sore throats, headaches and fatigue. The rooms are also consistently humid with no ventilation. When we returned, the clothes in our luggage felt damp, even items we hadn't worn during our stay. There were little bugs on the wall behind the bed and on the bathroom floor. The rooms are dirty and dusty. The room doesn't seem to be cleaned very thoroughly (or cleaned at all). There were boogers from a past client on multiple items in our room. The bed sheets and pillows were full of disgusting stains. It's actually insane to be calling it a 4-star hotel when it's basically a health hasard with a nice roof on top. The sliding door to the porch doesn't lock, it's like a sliding shower door. The free breakfast has many options but none actually taste good. The plates are literally all stained or dirty. The tv in our room would not turn off no matter what. During our stay, there was a private event on the second floor of the rooftop that lasted the entire day and night which made the second floor inaccessible to the paying guests of the hotel. This is unacceptable since the rooftop is the only nice thing about this hotel. There was also a weird dusty open air vent in the entrance of our room which was scary and disgusting to look at. Most of the staff is not very nice or helpful and don't seem to care about the mold issue. But there was a staff member named Jacques who was very sweet and tried his best to help with what he could. Do not ever stay here it's way too expensive for what it is. Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures of the roof.
