We just returned from a weeks vacation at Riu Palace Aruba. We had a great time. The food was amazing! So many different options and all so good! Our room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was great and our bar fridge was always stocked. The beach is amazing and we had no issues getting chairs or a hut. Yes, there is some construction but it wasn’t crazy and I can’t wait to come back and see the completed renovations. I want to give a special shout out to Luis at the Buffet! Thank you for taking amazing care of us at breakfast and lunch. It’s special service like his that makes you want to come back…and we will! This is our fourth time to Aruba and will not be the last! Thank you Riu Palace!

Overall stay was great. Clean resort with lots to do. I initially had a problem trying to get seated for the steakhouse however Kevin solved the issue for me. Because he did, I gave them 5 stars for service. The Rui doesn't take reservations which is a negative in my opinion. Housekeeping wasn't consistent. We didn't have washcloths when we initially arrived., they were brought to the room rather quickly. We had to request an iron and throughout the stay, our bathroom wasn't restocked properly with hand towels or liquid soap. The restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful. They had nightlife at the resort which was engaging. Stay was great, can't wait to visit Aruba again.

We had an all inclusive day pass and I was honestly disappointed with the whole experience. There was loud noisy construction and louder music at the pool. This resort is marketed to be an adult only resort and there were kids everywhere. All the beach huts were taken by other guests towels (from prior days) so we really couldn't use a hut. We paid $300+ for the day, not even a day room, and still had to pay an extra $20 for wifi for my husband and I. I wouldn't go back here, it's not really worth the money for what you get.
