A wonderful experience from start to finish! The hotel was clean and conveniently located. Every single staff member was kind and helpful. The rooftop had a beautiful view, though I recommend making a reservation as it was always busy. Finally, the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast that I've ever had. Seriously, it's ruined every other Continental breakfast I'll ever have. We would absolutely stay here again!
I recently stayed in a deluxe room with a king-size bed and had a great experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt upscale yet welcoming. The staff were especially friendly. Check-in at the reception was smooth, and the luggage service stood out with their exceptional friendliness and helpful attitude. The breakfast buffet was impressive with a very large selection. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The hotel’s location is another major plus: very centrally located, making it easy to explore the city, get to local attractions, and access public transport. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago!
As the owner of the largest fitness equipment, moving, and servicing company in the country, I hold extremely high standards for service, professionalism, and hospitality. Unfortunately, my recent stay at your property fell far below those expectations. My wife and I arrived at your hotel at approximately 2:30 AM after making a same-day evening booking—only to be charged a cancellation fee, which made no sense considering we were just arriving. Upon arrival, we were forced to wait over 30 minutes due to a system issue before we could even check in. This was not only frustrating but also incredibly inconvenient, especially as my wife is pregnant and was in need of immediate rest. The initial room assigned to us was poorly maintained: there was visible hair on the towels, and the bathroom door’s caulking had come off completely, making it impossible to close. After raising this with the front desk, we were moved to another room on a higher floor, only to find that the bathroom door in that room was completely off the hinges and unusable. To make matters worse, one of the towels in the second room had blood on it—an absolutely unacceptable and alarming discovery. After reporting this, nothing was done beyond offering us a late checkout. No sincere apology, no follow-up, no effort to make things right. I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service and the condition of the rooms, especially considering the premium price and the hotel’s prime location in downtown Chicago—one of the most prominent cities in the world. This experience was far from the level of hospitality and cleanliness one should expect from any reputable hotel. I will be escalating this matter further with your corporate offices and guest relations department, but I felt it important to first communicate my experience directly to ensure this is taken seriously. I also plan to share this with others considering a stay at your property, as I would not recommend it based on the unacceptable experience we endured.
