Riu Plaza Panamá

The hotel provided a relaxing but wondrous experience while I stayed. It was a simple process getting into our rooms, and the constant service from the many kind staff members made my stay all the easier. I would wholeheartedly visit again if time allowed. Especially as someone who did not speak the native language, I was still more than pleased by the effort made by the staff to make my experience better.

Had an amazing trip with my family here ❤, there wasn't that much of a language barrier because most of the staff we're able to speak both english and spanish. The hotel and general location were beautiful! Lovely buffet style breakfast every morning. Thank you Riu Hotel Plaza for a great first time in Panama City 🇵🇦 I would totally come here again!! 😌😌

All Hotel personnel are courteous and professional, except for the maintenance person. He was rude. I believe I know why. The air quality and the AC in certain rooms of the hotel are very poor quality. The room appeared clean but it smelled of urine or a sewer. I requested to be moved to a new room only to experience the same unpleasant odor. This was not only in my room and on certain floors in the hotel. My daughter who was on a different floor is experiencing the same. The AC at times is just making noise. The air feels less than cool. The sewer smell wakes me up night it is so bad. I feel like my health is being compromised. I choose this hotel because of my experience in another country, but I will not being staying at another Riu.
