Riu Republica Adults Only All Inclusive

I recently stayed at a Riu Hotel and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, clean pools, and direct beach access that makes every day feel like paradise. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping was excellent and kept the room spotless every day. The food options were varied and delicious — from the buffets to the à la carte restaurants, there was always something new and tasty to try. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I also loved the entertainment and activities offered throughout the day and evening. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy water sports, or dance the night away at a show or club, there’s something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend Riu Hotels for anyone looking for a fun, worry-free vacation with great service, amazing food, and a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to come back!

I recently stayed at the Riu Republica for my birthday. When I say it was a "vibe" from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming! Make sure you visit the first bar after check-in; the drinks are phenomenal! The food was excellent, and the resort itself was beautiful and relaxing. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Extremely disappointed with this stay. The food is not great , not many activities , if you do not tip you do not get service. The alcohol is greatly watered down. A bartender filled my cup 3/4 full of tequila and I got nothing. For all inclusive this is terrible. Definitely not 5 stars more like 1. We are still here and it just keeps getting worse. The food is god awful. This is the worst vacation of my 63 years. If I could give zeros I would. Today a new low for this disaster of a place. We wanted to go into steak house so we went to make a reservation and they changed the time to make a reservation for the third time. First it was 5 then 5:30 and now 6. PEOPLE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! You will be sorry. The response from owner under my review is ridiculous they DO NOT CARE.To show just how bad this resort is the elevator which has barely been working quit last night trapping 8 people. When they tried calling for help they got no answer. Eventually they made enough noise somebody came and basically pried the door open enough for people to crawl out through this narrow gap. One of the people trapped said it was stifling hot and there was a couple of people having severe panic attacks. NEVER go to Riu República in the Dominican Republic. Update today I did not have change for a tip and I watched the bartender NOT put any alcohol in my Margarita. Update- our last day here- at dinner the worst food of the whole trip- afraid I may get sick. While we are eating a boy is dry humping the window outside with an erection while hollering at some ladies eating inside a few tables over. I have never seen a place that needs security more than this one.
