Ignore the bad reviews please!! It's a lovely hotel friendly hardworking staff. Adequate food choice for everyone. It's hilly with steps so please consider this if you've got mobility issues. The only gripe is entertainment could have been better and bathrooms could be better or refurbished. The views are amazing and easy to get to Gumbet & Bitez.

Stayed for 5 nights, overall our stay was good. We had a nice room in the main building, very spacious with balcony. Everyday was cleaned, got new towels and water in the fridge. The shower could have been cleaner, I used flip flops to shower, but wasn't trouble. The food was ok, plenty of choice, everyday had something different. The pool was clean and comfy sun beds. Entertainment girl Zelena was very energetic and always available to find new activities to get guests involved. She's great. Staff very polite, their service was good. We had a nice stay for what we paid. If you have mobility issues, avoid this hotel has too many steps to get around, If you are looking for relaxation, great view, and good value for money, I recommend it.

Would I go back? Nope! A 2* resort (advertised as 4*) that was good, yet so bad. I will start with the positives of the staff, they were polite, welcoming and accommodating, a few were good at basic English and those that weren’t, would use a translate app to help communication. The food was good with a daily variation, a large salad bar and a selection of fruit and local deserts, so you will not go hungry. The resort is set on the side of a mountain so there's lots of steps, which is not mentioned in any of the hotel information. This was a common gripe that you would hear from some of the less agile clientele. There are 3 pools, but only 2 were open with the 3rd being a green swampland. When we arrived, we were told there were 3 but only 2 were open, and that there were 2 bars but we could only find 1, so we assumed the closed pool might have had the second. If you are using the middle pool, you need to go down to the bottom pool where the bar is and carry the drinks back up. Now comes the bad bits - the rooms. These are seriously outdated and uncared for, with so many issues. During our stay, we heard so many people complaining about their rooms, but as these are only hear say, I will only tell you the issues we actually experienced. There was no hot water in the shower for the first 48 hours but at least the water was running when you turned on the tap, this was not the case for the sink, this only had cold water. The shower was blocked and when we asked for it to be cleared, the drain was actually at the high point of the shower and the floor ran to the other end of the cubicle meaning you always had to step into a cold puddle of water when you got in. The fitted wardrobes were not fitted, so when you opened the doors, the carcass dropped out, not unusable or dangerous, just left a big gap. The drawers in the wardrobe were hard work and only 3 of the 4 worked. The bathroom door handles were so rusty you would be forgiven for thinking this was actually the colour they were supposed to be, this did in no way detract from the fist sized hole that was in the door and had been filled with clear silicone as a way to carry out a repair. The room had 2 single beds, so we slid the beds together only to reveal a broken socket and exposed wires. There is a fridge in each room, which doesn’t always mean there is a plug socket to plug it into. The second room was also not great. The TV was smashed and had taken an impact there was only hot water for 2 of the 7 days, and the shower was full of black mould, not just around the edges but all up the walls. This did get cleaned off after a persistent conversation with reception. As compensation they offered a free bottle of wine which tickled us as it's an all inclusive resort and wine it readily available. Outside the room in the main corridor, there were 2 black rubbish bags which I believe the cleaning staff left there, they only stayed there for 3 days so not that bad in the heat? The second room was cleaned daily after complaining about the mould, the first room was not cleaned for the whole of the week, although fresh towels were delivered to both every other day.
