Riva Lofts Florence

Wondeful Easter weekend at Riva Lofts Florence. Set on the river in Parco della Cascine, across the river from the outdoor music amphitheater, it’s a pleasant walk in the park to the historic old city. The buildings were artisans workshops and Alsace been very tastefully and beautifully adapted for hotel stays. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide and offered excellent breakfast each day. We also had a fantastic Easter brunch featuring milk braised lamb that was delicious. The pictures I attached are the view from our room looking up and down the river. Our room had very high ceilings, a functional kitchen and table, and an outdoor dining area. Our daughter had a separate room with its own private sun room with small dining area. Both rooms had ample closet space. We had a car and parked in the garage at a reasonable price. I recommend this place for comfort Including long stays. It would be a fine base for exploring Florence, especially if you enjoy long walks, and also making day trips to the surrounding countryside.

This was an incredible stay! My wife and I just left and we could not be more sad about it. We know this will be a place we talk about for years and dream about returning to. When we come back to Florence, we will not stay at any other place. I cannot recommend Riva Lofts enough! (Please enjoy this picture of a local bird playing in the pool)

Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast and a lovely outdoor area with pool. Don't make the mistake of staying in the centre of the city. The walk from here really isn't that far and it is great walking next to the river. I cannot wait to return.
