Riva Toscana Golf Resort & SPA

Very good resort. We spent a week in this beautiful property surrounded by hundreds of olive trees. It is a place that immediately conveys a sense of peace and harmony. Our rooms were spacious, nicely furnished and well soundproofed, ideal for resting, despite a busy road is just outside the resort. The quiet of the surrounding countryside completes a rejuvenating experience. Dogs are not only welcome, they are loved! They can go almost everywhere, including in the breakfast room. Exceptions are the swimming pool (but they can be on the surrounding grass) and in the spa, which is obvious. The staff is simply adorable with them. So, if you travel with your four-legged friend, this is an excellent place. Breakfast is varied and high-quality, with a great selection of sweet and savory options. The restaurant offers well-prepared dishes. The property boasts many facilities: a well-equipped gym, a very pleasant spa, a good and clean swimming pool and a golf course that – though I’m no expert – seemed to be in excellent condition and very well maintained. In addition, the hotel has agreements with two beach clubs, and provides beach towels. The beach can be reached by car or navette (about 5 minutes). The staff is another highlight: always smiling, welcoming, and professional – from the reception to the cleaning staff, and those working in the restaurant and breakfast area. My only note is on the room cleaning schedule, which often takes place between 1:30 PM and 3 PM, a time when many guests might prefer to rest.

Fantastic! My partner and I spent a week at Riva Toscana and left feeling very relaxed. We had an all round positive experience at the hotel. A special mention goes out to the Golf Pro Alessandro whom we had a number of lessons with. He is absolutely excellent! Patient, kind, humorous, very knowledgeable, experienced and so incredibly helpful. I could not have wished for a better teacher! Thank you to Adriana for greeting us with a smile at breakfast every morning, her great service and attention to detail ensured that we had a great start to every day! The food at the hotel was very delicious, the chef is extremely good at what he does. Thanks to the whole team for being helpful and for the great experience.

There is not enough personnel I think, waiting at the reception, waiting at the bar, waiting at breakfast, to have coffee it took 25 minutes! No one considered us at breakfast, that was quite sad, asking for coffee 3 times in a row is not nice, it's sad! Positive: The pool is nice, the rooms are cosy and clean and very Nordic. I red your answer and Thank you, you are mistaken with someone else, we were sitting at a table in your breakfast area, where no one showed us a table first of all, and no one passed by to ask if we needed some coffee. So I had to ask for coffee 3 times, but your staff went on cleaning the tables. After the third time asking, we got our coffee after 25 minutes as written above. We were not in a hurry, we just wanted our coffee with breakfast and not after!
