We had a fantastic time at Rivendell. Everything was perfect. Angus went out of his way to show us around the property, which is huge and set in the most beautiful environment. Peace and quiet reign supreme with top-class river fly fishing.
One of my favourite places. We have fished here a few times, and it is such a beautiful place! The accommodation is lovely, beautifully situated and well serviced. The riversides are well groomed to allow access for fishing, or walking. The most recent time we stayed, there were thousands of butterflies everywhere! I have never seen so many different species in one place before. It was a delight.
We spend two days in Rivendell's perfectly located Bag End Cottage on the pristine Spekboom river and loved every minute of it. Encountered, amongst others Kudu and Klipspringers, while a warthog family paid us a visit at the cottage. Highly recommended!
