The River Kwai View Hotel is well value for money, if you are looking for a convenient location, simple and clean hotel, this is your choice. I have doubt before staying but I'm happy to recommend this hotel. Service is very good from front desk, breakfast station to house keeping, they are polite and friendly. I was enquiring about the transfer service, front desk were so helpful and more concerned than myself. The view of our room is spectacular, I really enjoyed watching the view to River Kwai Bridge, especially the moment the train march in & there are happy cows that bath and chill all the time on opposite side. I love doing some stretching in the morning. The only downside is there's no privacy on the balcony that you are like sitting in a sharable space with other room guests on the same floor. I have no problem of my shower as per previous comments, and I love the smell of those bath towels and in room scent, this made me feel so Thai. I stayed for 3 nights from Friday to Sunday, the breakfast was served as American breakfast & Thai porridge on weekdays and Sunday we have a small buffet, serving some thai homey porridge, chicken soup, stir fried flat noodles and basic western breakfast items. Thank you for taking good care of us, really enjoyed our stay in your hotel, appreciated.
What a view, very reasonably priced nice hotel with friendly staff. You couldn't ask for a better place to see the bridge. We went out for breakfast and dinner locally. There is a market close by. Make sure you visit the Death Railway Museum and the War Graves cemetery in the town. Very moving, the hotel is a good base and very comfortable. There is parking. Well recommended
Location is great. Best views of the Bridge over the River Kwai and a few minute walk to. 7/11 & Cafe Amazon out the front. Staff friendly, breakfast included. Rooms: not good. Most uncomfortable bed ever. We had two single beds joined together and if you found yourself laying in the crack in the middle, very uncomfortable. They give you a one device token per person for internet access, but never worked. Check my YouTube (GJCC73) for a video review.
