Stayed with motorhome and was not disappointed. Showers and toilets are spotless, and the pitch is perfect and private with beautiful views of hills and Abbey. Extra bonuses are dog friendly, fenced off field, dish wash station, water and power, and waste disposal areas. Wifi is also available. Would highly recommend. Colin and Sandra are wonderful hosts who are on hand if you need any help. Would highly recommend a stay.
I had a lovely weekend here with my mum and our dog in our campervan. The amenities are fantastic and well looked after. There was Wifi, 2 clean showers and toilets and we were less than a 20 mins drive to Dumfries centre for anything we may need. Communication from the owners were great and even though we arrived in the dark after 6pm the gentleman was happy to show us around and made us feel very welcome. Would love to come back - thank you!
Absolutely love this place, this is a working farm with great pitches, super clean showers. Definitely my favourite small site. Very well maintained. Located only a short walk from New Abbey which has a Ruined Abbey, Cafe, General Store & Pub. You can also walk to the Solway Firth (very pleasent). There's also a field where your dog can run around. The site is also 5.5km from the Mabie MTB trails & easily peddled (we did, twice!). Nearly forgot, there's also a Tractor Museum on site
