Riverside Boutique Hotel

The Riverside hotel is very pleasant. Rooms are very large. Bathroom too. We had a bathtub and a shower at a same time. Maybe they should put little more light in bathroom. Room was warm and clean. Near the hotel is a river and the Supermarket Billa. The city center also. Hotel is not near the gondola but we had an organized transportation. Breakfast was great, dinner was OK, it was enough for my family. All the people in the hotel are pleasant and hard working. Well done!

This place grows on you and I was sad to leave. All the staff are great and nice and made the experience very pleasurable. The rooms are tidy, and the saunas are very nice. The best place is the common room area which is very welcoming and relaxing. I would have rated this a 3 star because some things are a bit old (like carpeting for example and a screeching door to the sauna). Also half of the rooms in the spa don’t work and the swimming pool is not very clean. The food is ok. I think with a bit of rejuvenation this could easily go to a 5 star hotel.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Even though the room was decent and the spa and sauna was quite nice, the food and service was really unacceptable and shocking. The food, overall, was very basic and I am sure they were using the same food the next day for both breakfast and dinner. Most of the chicken nuggets that we got to eat were raw (as you can see from the pictures below) which was unbelievable. The next day I had Salmonella symptoms (fever and stomach cramps) and when I informed the stuff as well as the manager, they didn’t do anything about it, they just said “sorry I can’t do anything about it”. We were also informed that the cooks in the kitchen were not professional, “they were just there to get paid”. Overall, my experience staying in this hotel was really bad and I would never go back.
