Riverside Chiangkhan Resort

Rooms of raft are basic but nice, clean and a great view, staff is very friendly and helpfull, service minded, breakfast was simple because of low seizon, nice and good stay in this area for a night or more

have mixed feelings about Riverside Chiang Khan Hotel. We stayed in the floating rooms on the Mekong River, which were new and offered a stunning experience right on the water. However, the walls were paper thin, and the bathroom was quite uncomfortable. The hotel was empty, but they placed the only two guests right next to each other, which impacted our ability to rest. We moved to an upstairs room on the second night. The rooms had zero insulation, and while it wasn't particularly noisy, the heat poured in and the air conditioning barely worked. Ultimately, it was a stay with mixed feelings. The staff, especially the maintenance team, were really helpful. The hotel also has a great bike lane and bicycles available to go downtown, which I highly recommend.
