Riverside Inn Aymestrey

We had the pleasure of dining at The Riverside at Aymestry tonight, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, a testament to their commitment to exceptional service. The food was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the kitchen's dedication to quality and creativity. It’s not often that a restaurant can cater to both adults and children, but The Riverside excelled in this area. Our two young children were well taken care of, with of the menu options to ensure they felt included in our dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for families. The picturesque riverside location added to the charm, making our evening even more memorable. We were recommended this gem by the cottage we rented, and it certainly did not disappoint. Overall, The Riverside at Aymestry exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're a family, a couple, or just looking for a delightful meal, I highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant. We can’t wait to return!

One of the best roast chicken dinners I've ever had. Fabulous! Locally sourced too. Every item was delicious. Breakfast was wonderful too with home made baked beans! The jams were home made too. We had a lovely stay. Staff friendly and ensured we had a thoroughly good stay. Definitely coming back!

I want to rave about this place but there’s one thing that’s really annoyed me. NOTHING I make, bake or buy even comes close to the amazing taste sensation they gave me. I came here to celebrate a birthday and some ‘Time out’. This restaurant is about 6 minutes from my front door but I felt like I was miles away. The weather helped, and myself and the gang were able to enjoy the picturesque garden and river view. Drink selection was amazing, but offered nothing but negativity for my hangover the day after. The menu featured local produce and every element of every dish was nothing shy of perfect! I’ve dined here a few times now and each time I think it’s better than the last. The team were attentive and friendly and added to the whole Experience. Accessibility is wonderful with discreet ramps that blend perfectly to decor. This may seem trivial but it certainly Didn’t go unnoticed by my party. If only more places were as welcoming, accessible and damn near perfect as this establishment.
