Rivière Boutique Hotel

Reasonably priced, nice & quiet area, 2 minute walk to a small convenient store, close to a shopping mall. Small restaurant located downstairs. Breakfast is around $3. Downside- stayed here before and both times had to ask for towels, no hand soap or shampoo/conditioner, coffee machine is always turned off cold or barely any and never fresh.

The staff were terrible. Completely uninterested. Not a word of English. Like so many small hotels in Colombia. The restaurant also had no knoy of English. In 2023. Hotel workers should have relevant English skills. They assumed I was American and I think that went against me. The room was actually ok. And the shower was great. But I wouldn't go again. The staff ruined it. Also prone to power cuts. **THE COFFEE MACHINE HAS NEVER WORKED. THEY CANT BE BOTHERED CLEANING IT***

Terrible experience. Don’t be fooled. This place has misleading advertising. For not seeing the room first before paying we had a bad experience. The room was ugly different to the pictures. There was no closets, no mirror, no towels in bath, rotten bathroom furniture. The doors locks are insecure and old fashioned. Very expensive for nothing. Wanted us the money back and the owner never showed her face and she charged us one night…so she stole from us. It’s a small place and all the rooms were empty. If you wish to choose this place please do so at own risk. DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY SAY HERE
