A Perfect Nature Retreat – Rivulet Resort, Munnar Our stay at Rivulet Resort was truly unforgettable. Nestled amidst lush greenery and located near a serene river, the resort offers a peaceful escape from the hustle of daily life. The surroundings are breathtaking – waking up to the sound of flowing water and chirping birds was a delight. What really stood out was the hospitality and service. The staff were courteous, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Every request was handled with a smile. The food was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and catered to a variety of tastes. Whether it was the local Kerala delicacies or continental options, each dish was well-prepared and delicious. Overall, Rivulet Resort is the perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and rejuvenate in Munnar!
Rivulet Resort is definitely a beautiful property with a lot of potential — peaceful, scenic, and tucked away in nature. We stayed in the Deluxe Room, and while the surroundings were lovely, the room itself didn’t quite live up to the ₹8,000 price tag for a single night. It felt more like a standard hotel room — basic interiors, minimal luxury, and nothing particularly premium about it. However, the view from the balcony made up for it — absolutely stunning. The river flows just about 50 meters away, and waking up to that calm, green scenery was genuinely refreshing. That was easily the highlight of the stay. The food was another pleasant surprise. Both breakfast and dinner were tasty and well-prepared, with good variety and quality. The staff were courteous and helpful, and overall service was smooth and friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take part in most of the activities offered by the resort due to the rain, which was a bit of a letdown — but that’s just nature being unpredictable. All in all, it’s a nice place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty, but if you’re booking the Deluxe Room, just know you’re mainly paying for the view, not the room luxury.
