Rixos Pera Istanbul

Our overall experience was outstanding thanks to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who truly went above and beyond at every opportunity. From the moment we arrived, the bell boys at the entrance were exceptional—always helpful, quick to assist with luggage, and genuinely welcoming each day we stayed. The reception team consistently checked in on our needs, and when the bell boys were helping other guests, they personally walked us to our taxis without hesitation. The wait staff was equally impressive—attentive, professional, always smiling, and eager to accommodate every request. Every interaction made us feel valued and cared for, creating a warm and personalized experience throughout our stay.

I booked the Premium Twin Golden Horn View room. The first pic shows the view directly outside the room: an old building. You’d have to crane your neck to the side to actually be able to see the Golden Horn itself. So we asked to change rooms with a better view, which the staff accommodated for our next night. The view was better, but it’s still 3/4 view of the city and 1/4 of the water. The service was exceptional, except for a lack of turnover service during the night. And for a luxury hotel, charging your guests for amenities like coffee pods and water is a really cheap move. We accidentally consumed the water bottles since the tags on them look just like the “complimentary” tags in other hotels. Overall, the rooms were nice, the location convenient, and the staff very friendly. The evil eye souvenir they gave us at the end of our stay was a very nice touch. Just some areas for improvement to become a perfect 5 stars.

Staying at Rixos Hotel was a great experience. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the city with the main strip, amazing restaurants, and shops just steps away. Despite being in a busy area, noise was never an issue, and we enjoyed a peaceful stay throughout. The room was clean and stylish, with a classy, luxurious feel. It smelled lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning. We were welcomed with drinks on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile by surprising me with a birthday cake and even called to check that everything was going well during our stay — a thoughtful and personal touch. The only downside was a minor issue with the shower water, but everything else far exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend Rixos and look forward to staying again!
