Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North

A wonderful stay at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North! I had an unforgettable experience from the moment I arrived. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with top-notch facilities, exceptional service, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the food — every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From breakfast to dinner, the variety and quality exceeded my expectations. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back!

From the outset, the welcome was underwhelming. Upon entering the hotel, there were no staff members available to greet us or direct us to the check in desk. The desks beyond the concierge area were not clearly signposted, and the check in area itself was quite chaotic, guests were gathered around without a clear queue or guidance, leading to confusion. The check in process took significantly longer than I have ever experienced, even compared to other hotels in and outside Doha. Considering it was peak check in time, I was surprised by the lack of staffing. That said, once I was eventually assisted by Peter, he was courteous and professional. He kindly informed me that although our room wasn’t ready, my children and I were welcome to enjoy lunch and the hotel facilities in the meantime, which was appreciated. Once we gained access to the room, several issues became apparent. The minibar was not stocked, there was no hot water, and the following morning when I requested towels, the ones delivered had noticeable, unidentified stains, something that should never occur in a hotel of your standard. While each of these issues on their own may seem minor, they collectively impacted our experience, particularly as I was traveling with children. Guests naturally expect these basic details to be handled smoothly, so they can focus on enjoying their stay rather than resolving operational oversights. The water park was lovely and the kids enjoyed the experience.

I recently stayed at Rixos Qetaifan North and truly enjoyed the experience. The hotel facilities are impressive, the staff are welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is vibrant and family-friendly. The water park adds a unique and exciting dimension to the stay, offering a variety of activities and attractions suitable for all ages. However, one notable area for improvement is the absence of a dedicated shower area within the water park itself. While we did have access to our hotel bathroom, a proper shower and changing facility within the water park would greatly enhance convenience—especially for guests who want to freshen up and dress comfortably before leaving the park or heading out for the rest of the day. Adding this amenity would truly complete the experience and reflect the level of attention to guest comfort that Rixos is known for.
