Rixos Turkistan

I went here for the breakfast. The buffet had a huge choice, but they didn't have kazi which they had had in the past.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous, we came during Christmas and all their decorations were so pretty. It’s very clean, and the staff are very kind and accommodating. It’s got a little mall and market right next door with an entrance from inside the hotel which can only be accessed by guests. And it’s just a short taxi ride to all the attractions. Quick side note…if you’ve never been toTurkistan check out the museum (the building is all blue tile) and definitely see their show, also check out the Flying Theatre (it’s in the gold egg looking building). You will not be disappointed. Beautiful people, beautiful country, beautiful city.

Extremely non professional staff. Starting from sales person, continuing to reception and housekeeping and spa. Reception misinformed regarding breakfast working time and we didn't go as thought it was closed, while it was still open. They gave a birthday gift, stating wrong person on postcard, while they had both passports, however nice touch. Housekeeping missed to put second bathrobe, took both and replaced one. Sauna in spa super dry and hot. Unfortunately cannot give any info as there is no thermometer. Bed is not really comfortable. Ladies in Irish pub were nice and helpful.
