Very cosy hotel with original design, with abundant breakfast menu, especially would like to point out delicious thick pancakes for breakfast, kids were crazy about them. Multilingual friendly staff speaking both Russian and English 👍

The restaurant is great for those with lots of time to wait. But if you’re like us, after driving a long day, wanting a quick snack before bed - good luck! We weren’t so lucky and waited 45 minutes for a salad, two warm plates and a soup.

The location alone sets the tone: wedged between a gas station and a run-down building waiting to be demolished, with a busy highway roaring past one side of the hotel. Inside, things didn’t improve much. The room itself was fairly clean, but the mattress was a disaster — the dip in the middle was deepest I had ever seen in a mattress and it should have been replaced long ago. The cleanliness didn’t extend to common areas either: many common areas were consistently dirty throughout our stay. Breakfast was below average. For guests with dietary restrictions, options were almost non-existent — one of our group had a milk allergy and no real effort was made to accommodate except for a porridge from oat milk. Yes, the hotel was cheap, but honestly, it should have been cheaper given the overall experience.
